The first Harley-Munich festival was held on 13th to 15th July 2012 on the Zenith site in the Lilienthalallee 29 in Munich.

A lot of exciting programs lined up - Custom motorbikes, Motorbike Stunt shows, Rock music, Sexy Bike wash,Table dance by Boobs Gentlemans club and much more not forgetting the great German beer and a chance to win the HD 883 Iron!

Motorbike and marriage often calls for a lot of adjustment. Here's some thoughts echoed by bikers as to the "IDEAL" biker's Wife!

The Ideal biker's wife may say .....

• Honey, are you sure you have enough beer for tonight?
• I love you working on the bike on Saturdays, we should do it together on Sundays?
• Honey, I have decided to walk naked at home.
• You are so sexy when you are hungry!
• Sweetheart, what kind of brakes do you want me to buy for the bike?
• Do you mind if we watch the game together tonight and finish a dozen of beers?
• I am going to wash the bike!
• No, No, No. I am changing the motor oil this time.
• Forget about St Valentine we can go for a bike show instead.
• Your mother is so much better than me.
• That's enough! I don't wanna go for shopping anymore. We better stay home, rent some hot movies and ....I can invite my girlfriend to join us.
• Listen, a new striptease bar just opened across the street. Why don't we go and take a look?

The Royal Enfield Bullet with attachments can be used for tilling, weeding, and sowing.

To solve problems in the spraying of agrochemi­cals in the fields, Man­sukhbhai Jagani farmer from Gujarat, India developed a sprayer which is effi­cient and affordable.This has been done with  a die­sel Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle complete with attachments for till­ing, weeding, and sowing small farm holdings. Jagani’s machine proves to be cost effective and fuel efficient. It can plow an acre of land in 30 min­utes, consuming just two liters of fuel. Santi can weed 10 hectares of land in a day at the cost of Rs 15 per hectare.

To accomplish such tasks, Jagani has created an attachment that can be hooked to any 300+ cc motorcycle by replacing the rear wheel with an assembly unit, also designed and developed by him.

With the help of National Innovation Foundation (NIF), Ahmedabad, Jag­ani has attained a patent in India and in the US for his innovation

BMW museum,Munich,Germany

 Hi all,

I visited the BMW museum in Munich,Germany.

Bayerische Motoren Werke ( Bavarian Motor Works ) ..... rings a bell ? Or would the logo do the trick ? BMW is a German automobile, motorcycle and engine manufacturing company founded in 1917. It also owns and produces the Mini marque, and is the parent company of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. BMW produces motorcycles under BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna brands. In 2010, the BMW group produced 1,481,253 automobiles and 112,271 motorcycles across all its brands.

BMW has its own museum in Munich (Germany) which is amazing history in motion. If you love automobiles, specially cars and bikes, then this place deserves a visit. Its freezing 0 degrees outside, but you wont feel a thing inside -with the automobiles enthusiasm probably you wont need the heaters :) Patience while the page loads.

Indian romance with the Royal Enfield Bullet

Most in India who have grown up watching hindi movies will definitely remember the hero on a motorbike ... it had to be a Royal Enfield Bullet. Of course, I personally can't imagine Amitabh bachan riding a 150cc fat fati Rajdoot which used to always seem like gasping for dear breath! Now thats something thats real undigestable. The hero on an Enfield Bullet reflects sheer power through its classic iconic status.

Notably starting from the 1975 movie Sholay featuring Amitabh and Dharmendra on the Bullet , now 36 long years down the line even if we just look at 2011 movies, we can see the Enfield featured prominently. Infact over 5 movies have the hero or heroine using the Enfield ! Why..doesnt the Harley and other superbikes have charm ? India still loves the Royal Enfield Bullet and it has a special appeal!
